Exciting News From Protocol
We want to share some news with you that we’re really excited about:
Protocol Technologies Inc. has just completed a strategic partnership with another growing Canadian company in our industry, by joining F12.net.
For over 24 years, Protocol has been at the forefront of providing IT support, equipment, and related services to the Okanagan, Thompson, and Shuswap areas. We’re proud of what we’ve built, and we couldn’t have done it without our valued and loyal clients, such as you.
Why the change?
The complexities of IT continue to evolve and change. We want to be able to provide additional offerings to our clients that we would not be able to do effectively without a partner like F12.
As an example, F12.net brings us two Canadian data centres, owned and fully controlled by F12, which you can leverage if and when it makes sense. Also, many of our clients need services outside of our geographic reach and our hours of operation. While we have worked with partners to deliver these services when required, we will soon be able to do so without depending on third-party organizations in many regions including Vancouver Island, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto.
We have known F12.net for more than a decade through our mutual membership in a peer technology group (Trust X Alliance). We share many core values around customer service and work ethic. We came to realize that we are stronger together.
Further, F12.net is a recognized leader for having superior processes. Over the years they have shared with us some processes that we use today. We could not effectively adopt other process and systems without fully integrated into their systems.
What change does this mean for you?
None, really at this time.
The Protocol team you’ve come to know is still here to serve you; the familiar faces aren’t going anywhere. Todd Hanna will remain invested as a managing partner for the region. In the months ahead, as the integration progresses, you’ll see our branding and communications (statements, invoices, etc.) transition to F12.
We will also have some new services and best practices to offer that can further improve what we do for you and help you remain competitive and productive.
While we will be a little sad to retire the Protocol name, we are genuinely excited about the future. Our team is very proud to have built something great together over the last 24 years, and we all look forward to this partnership and continuing to serve your needs.
