Remote Operations Technicians concentrate on monitoring client hardware. In this role, you will be responsible for confirming the technical aspects of client contracts are upheld. This includes:
- Backup management
- Network health management
- General help desk support
- Special projects
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful you will be expected to develop and display numerous skills:
- Post-Secondary Certificate, Degree, and/or Industry Certifications.
- Participate in making Protocol a fun place to work.
- Have knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, cloud technologies, mobility, security, storage technologies, and business applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot server based software issues. Possess knowledge and understanding of various server/workstation peripherals such as USB/NAS drives

Protocol Technologies Inc. is seeking to hire an Imaging Technician to join our photocopier and printer service team. If you are highly motivated, experienced, and possess excellent communications and customer service skills this may be the opportunity for you. The successful candidate will have experience with conducting repairs and maintenance of digital multifunction copiers and printers.
Work in a closely knit technical team to provide client support to our clients including such services as:
-Field preventative maintenance and repairs of digital copiers and printers
-Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to determine cause and required repair.
-Onsite and shop repair of equipment that may require; complex disassembly, cleaning, parts replacement, testing and adjustments.
-Develop positive relationships with clients with effective communication
-Document and complete Service Orders
Requirements and Qualifications:
-Post-secondary diploma, degree or certificate is preferred
-Minimum 2 years’ experience related to technical repair of business equipment
-Preference will be given to applicants with Kyocera field repair experience.
-Applicants must possess some knowledge of computers and network connectivity
-Must have own transportation and Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
